The NTCMD participates in the first meeting UCLM-NTCMD
   
The last July, 12th took place the first meeting in the EIMIA between researchers of the University of Castilla La Mancha and the National Technological Centre for Mercury Decontamination, with the main objective to establish contacts and to develop future research projects related to mercury.

The meeting was organized by the Energy and Environment Science and Technology Campus (CYTEMA) and it was attended by several research groups of the University of Castilla La Mancha related to mercury, researchers from the University of √Čvora (Portugal), researchers from the University of Cordoba, and researchers who are internationally renowned in mercury research from the CIEMAT.

The conferences about mercury were attended by members from several research groups of the University of Castilla La Mancha such as the Institute of technology for chemistry and environment (ITQUIMA), the Institute of applied geology (IGeA), the research Institute of hunting resources (IREC) within the group of the toxicology of wild fauna, and the Faculty of environmental and biochemical sciences.

The NTDMD made a presentation about the research and technological development applied to the environmental risks of mercury, which had been carried out since the opening of this Centre.

The meeting was developed with the main objective to bring positions and to make possible the development of joint projects in future calls.
