The Technological Center of Mercury participated, from May 22 to 24, 2019 in Santiago de Cali (Colombia), in the International Seminar "Environmentally sound management of products with added mercury" organized by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia within the framework of Project COL / 98842-94749 financed by the GEF.

MAYASA presented its experience and management model based on its mercury stabilization / solidification technique. All the parties involved in the implementation of the Minamata Convention, the substitution of products with added mercury, the substitutes available for dental amalgam and the management of mercury waste participated in the Seminar.
